Occasionally, uploading a document will produce an error message that reads, "The file did not upload successfully. Click here to remove it and try again."
Here are some basic troubleshooting steps you can take to resolve this error message:
- Check to ensure the file that was uploaded was a PDF and not any other kind of file.
- Try uploading another PDF as a test. If the website accepts the test PDF, try recreating the original PDF by printing it out and re-scanning it or by using the Print to PDF method and re-uploading it.
- Try saving the draft, exiting it, then resuming the draft and trying to upload the document again. If the website prompts you to sign in again, this is because the website timed you out. Sign in again and resume your draft.
- If the website did not sign you out after saving your draft, try signing out and signing back in again, then resume your draft.
- If you resume the draft and see multiple versions of the file you attempted to upload, this is indicative of a network error. Try to upload the file using a different network, like a Wi-Fi hotspot.
- You cannot upload entire folders filled with files. You must upload only one PDF document at a time.
