Sometimes a Cook County, Illinois filer will not be able to select a Hearing Date, even after properly selecting the Motion type in their filing. If so, you will typically receive a message stating Internal Server Error, Hearing Dates Unavailable, or Hearing Date Reservation Failed when looking for available dates to load. This indicates that you will be unable to select a Hearing Date.
Several reasons could cause this issue.
- You could try selecting a different Hearing Date first, as the date you selected may not be available.
- If you opt not to select a Hearing Date, simply click the Do Not Schedule button at the bottom of the Request Hearing Date box to continue.
If a filing is still in a Submitted status and you wish to try to schedule a Hearing Date again, the link to schedule a Hearing Date can be found in the View Envelope details located in the Filing History. Click the blue Requesting Hearing Date link at the bottom of the envelope details to attempt to schedule a hearing date again.
Filers who receive the Hearing Dates Unavailable notice should contact the clerks at the Cook County court you are filing into for assistance in setting up a court date. Please Note: Technical support does not have the authority to schedule Hearing Dates for you.
