A Firm User is a filer with an account affiliated with your firm account. They can be anyone - an attorney, a paralegal, a secretary, or another office worker - who regularly files paperwork with the court for your law firm.
A Firm Administrator can invite new filers to register for their own affiliated accounts and thereby join the firm's account via the Firm Users page. For more information on this process, please visit the article below.
A Firm Attorney is an attorney from your firm that can be added to a Party in a case that one of your Firm Users is filing. An attorney may be listed in the firm account's Firm Attorneys page so they can be added to cases without having to be registered Firm Users or filers.
Note: An attorney must be added to the Firm Attorneys list in order to be added as the Lead Attorney to a Party in a case filing!
A Firm Administrator can add new attorneys to the Firm Attorneys list anytime a new attorney joins their law firm or remove an attorney from the Firm Attorneys list anytime an attorney leaves their firm. For more information on adding attorneys to the Firm Attorneys list or on adding Firm Attorneys to Parties on efilings, please refer to the following articles.
