In Texas, the public list is managed by the attorney logging into their bar profile and updating their public contact information for service. I am in the Service Contacts section. What is the Public List?
Other states will generate the public list with a checkbox that is selected on the Firm Service Contact. If you go to your Firm Service Contacts list, click the name/email of your contact and scroll to the bottom of the page to view if this checkbox is available.
If selected, the contact will be searchable as a contact on the Public List. Please Note: Not all eFile clients will offer a Public List for adding contacts for service to a case. Please check with your court for their rules for service if unable to add or view contacts from a Public List.
Please Note: If you are needing to update your contact information in the Public List, you will have to contact the State Bar directly.
