Some users may file electronically at their court's kiosk computer terminals. We highly encourage this (where available), as users filing their initial case documents at the court have immediate access to the court's helpful law clerks for information. However, when these same users check their Filing Histories later on, they may notice that the documents they efiled via the court kiosks do not appear.
Some courts require users to either register for or log into their own accounts when filing. Other courts, however, may have their own court-specific kiosk account — typically an account with a login email like "firstname.lastname@example.org", "email@example.com", or something similar — that their kiosks or efiling computer terminals are automatically logged into each day.
If this is the case, when a user efiles from the court terminals, these filings will not appear in their efiling accounts' Filing Histories, as they were not filed using the user's personal account. For more information or to obtain file-stamped copies of the documents filed via the court kiosks, users may need to contact the clerks at the court they filed at.
