Some filers add bookmarks or other details to their PDF documents prior to submitting them to the courts via the Odyssey File & Serve system. When filers receive their file-stamped copies back, however, the bookmarks or other details they added to their PDF documents may be missing.
If a filer has to flatten a PDF document prior to submission, that flattening process may eliminate the bookmarks or other special details a filer may have added to their PDF files. Additionally, the court's procedure for adding a file stamp to the document may flatten a PDF, which will remove bookmarks or other details added to a PDF by users.
