Sometimes, courts make changes to their eFiling system configuration between the time a filer either creates a new draft or submits an initial filing and the time they either resume their draft or copy their initial filing after it has been rejected by the court. By that time, the Filing Code the filer selected could no longer be valid and may prompt the following error:
"The Filing Code is not valid for..."
When this occurs, contact the court's filing clerks to find out which Filing Code you should use for your filing instead of the Filing Code you had originally selected.
