Best Practices for Maintaining Service Contacts
- Regularly verify Service Contact email addresses before initiating filings.
- Promptly update or remove Service Contacts when changes occur.
- Monitor for system notifications about e-service failures by viewing envelope details after submissions and address them immediately.
Note: If there is no Actions button to the right of the contact, this means you did not add the contact and you will be unable to remove it. In this situation, you will need to click the link below to have the contact removed.
We can only remove a service contact from your firm from a case. If a service contact from another firm needs to be removed, please contact that firm to have them removed. Once the form is completed and returned, your request will be processed.
NOTE: Anyone who has access to the case can add a Service Contact. We cannot block any Service Contacts from being added to any case.
NOTE: If, upon receipt of your removal request, we discover the contact was attached to the case by the court, we will not be able to remove it. In this situation, we will advise you to contact the court directly to have the contact removed.
