Follow the instructions below to use the mail service feature in the website.
Note: this feature is only available in Georgia, California and Indiana. All other states will have to check with their local court on the rules of service.
All other states
When eFiling a document, select the Filing Type EFileAndServe. Choose the appropriate Filing Code, scroll down and upload the Lead Document. Click Save Changes.
Next section is Service Contacts. Click on the contact name and email to highlight. Click on the Service Method box, select the appropriate Mail option.
There is a Mail Service Fee of $3 each document for first class mail or $10 each document for certified mail.
Click Save Changes and continue through the filing to submit. You will receive an email notification once the mail is sent.
Indiana Users
When eFiling a document, select the Filing Type EFileAndServe. Choose the appropriate Filing Code, scroll down and upload the Lead Document. Click Save Changes.
Next section is Service Contacts. If there is an Existing contact on the case, click on the contact name and email to highlight. Click on the Service Method box, select either Certified Mail or First Class Mail.
A new mail service contact(mail service only) can also be added by clicking the Actions button directly to the right party and selecting Add New Mail Service Contact. This contact will be added to the case for mail service only.
Scroll down, select either Certified Mail or First Class Mail for service method. Complete all fields outlined in red and then click Save Changes.

Continue through the Filing and Submit. You will receive an email notification once the mail is sent.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Who performs the service? Is it the court or Tyler?
A: We utilize a third party mailing service called DNI Corp.
Q: How long does it take for mail service to deliver?
A: 2-3 business days for Regular/First Class Mail. 4-10 business days for Certified Mail.
Q: What's the difference between the mailing options?
A: Regular/First Class Mail is not tracked. Certified Mail will provide tracking information in the confirmation email and your envelope details. Certified mail tracking can be found through the View Envelope Details when in the Filing History.
Q: Will a Return/Certificate of Service be filed or provided for me?
A: No. Filers will still be responsible for filing these documents.
