Have you received the following error messages when submitting a batch filing (especially when submitting a Failure to Pay Rent filing)?
- Filing draft did not submit successfully. Try again. Contact support if problem doesn’t resolve within the next minute.
- Unexpected exception...
- Unable to determine fees. Try again. Contact support if problem doesn't resolve within the next minute.
The error may be due to the use of special characters on the Case Information or Party Information page. Batch filings do not accept special characters (*&^%$#@!"/:?). Please remove any special characters and resubmit your filing.
Also, check the file name of your PDF document(s). Please be sure to name the file with only letters and numbers. The addition of symbols/special characters (/:%&@!#-_.etc.) can trigger this message as the site is unable to process the document, which prevents the fees from calculating.
If renaming your files does not fully resolve the issue, try re-saving your document(s) using the Print-To-PDF method.
