NOTE: If you are adding a new service contact as part of a case, the system will not send a new notification to the service contact for the previous filings in the case. The newly added service contact will only receive notifications for future filings within the case.
NOTE: Service Contacts added to a case from other efile providers will appear in the case's Service Contacts list in our eFile & Serve system.

How to Add a New Service Contact
In order to add a Service Contact to the case you will need to do the following:
1. Click on the orange "Actions" button.
2. Click on "File Into An Existing Case".
3. Select the location your case is in.
4. Enter your case number.
5. Click "Search".
6. Click on the black "Actions" button.
7. Click on view service contact.
8. Find the party you want to add the service contact to, or select "Other Service Contacts" if the Service Contact is not associated with any specific party.

Should you choose to associate a new Service Contact you add to a case with with the "Other Service Contacts" option (or the "Other - No Party Association" option), a pop-up notification will appear, indicating that "Parties will be removed if 'Other' is selected."
This notification does not imply that the other Parties will be removed from the case. Rather, it signifies that if you had previously associated this Service Contact information with any other Parties on the case in the Service Contacts tab, this Service Contact entry will now be linked to "Other" instead. If you are adding a new Service Contact and not modifying a previously added one, you may safely disregard this notification and proceed by clicking "OK."
9. Click on the black "Actions" button to the right and click on Add New Service Contact, enter your name and email, press Save Change.
- NOTE: Not all courts allow users to add new Service Contacts.
- NOTE: If there is no input field for an Entity Name (like the name of a company, law firm, or agency) or Firm Name on your Service Contacts window, then you must add part of the entity's name to the First Name field and the rest to the Last Name field to continue.
How to Add from Firm Service Contacts
You can also click on Add from Service Contacts and select the email contact for service. If you are using a Firm Account, this option will be listed as Add from Firm Service Contacts.

- NOTE: Some states require you to add a Service Contact to your case's list from your account's/Firm's Service Contacts list.
Once you select the service contact you can click close and they have been added to the case.
NOTE: If you add a contact to multiple parties, you will receive a notification for each listing. If you do not want multiple notifications of service, please only add yourself as a contact once.
NOTE: Not all courts allow filers to add Service Contacts from the Public List. Each state chooses whether they allow the use of the Public List or not.
How to Edit a Service Contact
To edit a Service Contact, simply click on the Service Contact and the edit fields should appear below (if the Service Contact is editable).
